ACCREDITATION MARKS

Companies accredited by DANAK shall use the DANAK accreditation mark on the accredited reports and certificates issued to customers. The rules on the use of the DANAK accreditation mark can be read in executive order 913, chapter 4, and accreditation regulation 2 (AB 2) on DANAKs accreditation mark and reference to accreditation.

The DANAK accreditation mark consists of "crown + DANAK" along with the type of accreditation and the registration number with DANAK.

DANAKs accreditation mark is recognised by the Danish authorities, and accreditation of companies is considered a regulatory task.

Accredited reports and certificates bearing DANAKs accreditation mark is evidence that :

  • the service is carried out by a company accredited by DANAK and
  • the service is carried out in accordance with the requirements applicable to the company's accreditation.

The accreditation mark is thus a guarantee to the customer that the company has the necessary competences and procedures to accomplish the task.
