PHYSICAL, MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL TESTING
Through physical, mechanical and electrical testing companies and authorities can establish physical, mechanical and electrical parameters and - or - characteristics for a product or a subject.
I many cases, these parameters and characteristics must meet the requirements of legislation, international standards or specifications provided by the company or its customers.
Special schemes:
-
Laboratories can act as notified testing bodies in accordance with Byggevareforordningens system 3.
Based on DANAKs assessment of the additional requirements, which the scheme demands in addition to accreditation, DANAK on behalf of Bolig - og Planstyrelsen (Danish Housing and Planning authority) designates laboratories as notified bodies and inserts them in the EU database Nando.
-
The laboratories that use of accreditation to be appointed as notification organs in accordance with other directives than the construction products regulation, have to, appart from accreditation, ensure the fulfillment of the regulations in accreditation regulation 18 (AB18), which DANAK further assesses the fulfillment of.
It will be reflected in the laboratory decision on accreditation as well as the register information for laboratories on the DANAK website, to which directives the assessment relates, so that the competent authority may designate laboratories as notified bodies.
